SEPTEMBER 23 - 1:00 PM: LOCAL IMPACT OF HEALTH CARE REFORM
Our speakers: Frances Padialla from Sustinet will discuss efforts to provide health care for all Connecticut residents. Jennifer Millea, AARP Associate State Director for Communications in CT, will cover the impact of National Health Care Reform on Medicare. The moderator is Michael Turpin, Executive VP for USI Insurance Services. Mr. Turpin is committed to the challenge of reforming our health care system so all Americans have access to high quality, cost effective care. The meeting will be held in the Lamb Room in the Library.
OCTOBER 22 - 7:30 PM: Our annual CANDIDATES MEETING, for those running for state and local office, will be held in the Lamb Room at the Library. Co-hosted by the New Canaan Advertiser.

Speakers include Steve Karl, Chairman of the Park and Recreation Sub-committee of the Town Council; Scott Gress, Chairman of the Park and Rec Commission; and John Rice, Chairman of the newly formed Conservation Commission. In the Lamb Room of the New Canaan Library.

DECEMBER 14 – HOLIDAY LUNCHEON and MUSICAL REVUE - At the home of Penny Young - 52 Indian Rock Road. 10:00 AM - Rehearsal at Penny's. 12:00 NOON - Luncheon and Holiday Revue for Members and Guests.
